- Cuba will end exit visa requirement in January – Citizens of Cuba will soon be able to travel more freely, as the exit visa requirement should be ended in the beginning of 2013. (NY Times)
- Oceania Cruises introduces new ports, routes – Oceania Cruises, a more high-end line, unveiled new itineraries, routes, and ports of call for the 2013-2014 seasons. The Caribbean island of Bonaire will now have service, along with some new ports in China. (Canada.com)
- Crystal Cruises will offer its first complete circumnavigation – Crystal Cruises, in 2015, will begin to offer a real round-the-world itinerary. At 108 days, the circumnavigation will start at over $34,000 USD for a room. (Travelers Today)
- Air Canada flight finds stranded Australian yachtsman – As Air Canada flight Flight AC033 was about to land in Australia, the crew diverted to assist in a search for a yacht that has been adrift for 9 days. (CNN)
