  • American Airlines to try new boarding procedure which rewards light packers – American Airlines will soon allow passengers with only a small bag that will fit under the seat in front of them to board first, which may help increase boarding efficiency. (Skift)
  • Viking Cruises announces new ocean cruise line – Viking has launched their new Viking Ocean Cruises line that will put the focus back on the destination, rather than on the ship, as cruises have come to be known. (Viking {link since dead})
  • Apostrophes all but outlawed on US place names – The  Domestic Names Committee of the U.S. Board on Geographic Names (that exists?) has basically eradicated apostrophes in place names, making some names appear to be plural rather than possessive. (WSJ)
  • Berlin opens Barbie life-sized house –  Germany’s capital city unveiled a new attraction – a life-sized “Barbie Dreamhouse,” covering about 1,400 square meters, in Berlin’s Alexanderplatz district. (Atlantic Cities)
