  • Ukraine levies sanctions on Russian airlines – As the tensions between the two countries show no signs of cooling, Ukraine has placed a ban on many Russian flights to the country, which will impact carriers such as Aeroflot, Transaero, and others. (Skift)
  • Norwegian and Ryanair close to partnership – Along with the news that Norwegian will add nonstop service with their new 737’s, the company is near a deal with Ryanair to act as feeder flights for Norwegian’s longer routes. (Bloomberg)
  • JFK’s TWA terminal will become hotel – The iconic TWA terminal that has been vacant in New York City’s JFK airport will now become a 505-key hotel. (USA Today)
